Our suspect; Lower class from the projects; handsome, charming, hustling pot dealer; seemingly innocuous, but quietly volatile. A good liar, he knows how to cover his tracks and spin his crimes. (GUEST STAR) [PAUL STRASSNER] Male; Caucasian; Early-Mid 30s. [JUDGE OWENS] Female; Any Ethnicity; 40s-50s. Tough, stern, judicious, confident, owns her courtroom. Does not get drawn in by smooth defense attorneys and their slippery ways. [JENNIFER] Female; Any Ethnicity; Mid 20s-Mid 30s. Rape Crisis Counselor in heels, book studied but with very little hands on experience with actual victims, tactless, intrusive, less then endearing and more than upsetting; she inserts herself between Detectives and victims when she has not been summoned. (ONE SCENE; 10 lines)

[NURSE] Female; Any Ethnicity; 30s-40s. Plain, working class; compassionate but professional, helpful, serious about her work, knows she has a job to do and does it, even when its dealing with fragile rape victims. (ONE SCENE; 5-7 Lines. POSSIBLEY RECURRING)

[PUBLIC DEFENDER GUTHRIE] Male; Caucasian; Late 20s-Late 30s. Bumbling public defense attorney. Disheveled, in over his head, disorganized, clumsy, over worked, not the sharpest lawyer in NYC. Stumbles his way through arraignment, bordering on malpractice. (ONE SCENE; 5 lines)

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episodes are back in action with a new season and being the last one left in the franchise of Law & order it was the most awaited by the fans. Finally we got to see the premiere episode of Law & Order: SVU Season 13. Read on to know more about the episode.

As we all know that Detective Stabler is no more part of Law & Order: SVU Season 13 episodes we missed him a lot in the premiere. And not only fans but the characters in the series missed him especially his partner Olivia Benson, who broke down into tears after knowing about him. By the end of this premiere episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit season 13 we came to know that Stabler has filed for leaving the job that confirms that he will not be coming back.

Law & Order: SVU Season 13 premiere episode had Stabler missing but we had a new entry as well in the unit and that is of Amanda Collins from Atlanta. And I hope that Kelli Giddish does this role nicely to keep the last franchise of Law & Order safe even after Meloni’s exit. Danny Pino is another one who will be joining the team in next episode.

The case that the unit was handling in Law & Order: SVU Season 13 premiere episode was that taken from a real life incident whose charges were made one month back only. In this case an Italian Diplomat named Roberts Distasio was accused with charges of raping a hotel maid. But after a lot of investigations and even checking the reliability of the victim the case was closed. So basically it showed the power of money which was not that interesting.

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 13 gets a new showrunner

Posted by: admin | Comments Comments Off

The only series remaining from the Law & Order Franchise, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit series, will be returning for another season. And that will be on 21se September, that is, the date on which Law
& Order: SVU Season 13 Premiere episode
will be aired. But till we see the premiere episode we have updates coming up about the upcoming Law & Order: SVU Season 13 episodes.

The latest update about Law & Order: Special Victims Unit Season 13 episodes is that it has got a new showrunner, Warren Leight, who calls it Law & Order SVU 2.0. Warren is quite excited about this but it is not going to be easy for him as this series is the last one remaining in the Law & Order franchise. And to make it more difficult the main lead Christopher Meloni has already left the series.

Warren understands his responsibility as he has to maintain the progress of Law & Order: SVU episodes and even try to take it to much higher levels. For this he has made several plans like he has cast two new regulars Danny Pino and Kelli Giddish in replacement of Meloni. Danny would be an ex con artist who will be able to read people easily and Kelli’s character would apply technical knowledge to things for a structured approach.

Likely Warren has worked on Mariska’s character Benson also as she will be the one most affected by her partner’s exit. In upcoming Law & Order: SVU Season 13 episodes we will be seeing Benson with few changes. She will be understanding things differently and as we all know she will not be a regular in the series so her role will be limited.

Warren is also bringing back Stephanie March and Diane Neal back to Law & Order: SVU episodes.

So Stay tuned and watch “Law & Order: SVU” online.
